They're blue right?

Well it's all about how blushing just works: When a person is subjected to something that he/she will feel bad about, a part from the total bloodmass from one's body with move to the cheecks of one's face, which creates the whole blush.

Since human's their blood is red, our blush is red too, just because so much of the stuff is that point of our body at said moment.

Since Kathy's blush (and Zom Bielle's too for that matter) is blue, it can only mean that their blood must be coloured blue too!

My explanation might not be the most clear one, but this is just what I know.

Another possibility that would make some sense would be that her/their skin color is less transparent than a normal person's. Blood rushing to those spots might just make them look darker. Legit?
